Connie Eckard, ABC, Ph.D., IABC Fellow, is a writer, editor, and mentor in Richland, Wash. Throughout his professional career, he
has shared stories of employee innovations that have provided solutions in the workplace.
Connie has been a part of IABC since its inception, serving as an officer and committee chair at the chapter, district/region, and international levels. He initiated the chapter Leadership Institute, and has served on the accreditation board and council as well as on multiple Gold Quill Blue Ribbon Panels.
Connie has been a communication leader, advisor, and teacher in the public, government, and education sectors. He was senior public affairs counsel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and retired as a colonel. A graduate of Leadership Tri-Cities, Connie is active in community theater.
