Jerry Halamaj has over 30 years of experience in human resources and organization development working with senior management at some of the best recognized Fortune 500 global companies. Jerry was Senior Consultant and Director of Client Services and Strategy at Foresight. Before that he worked as Director of Global Employee Surveys at Citigroup. Prior to Citigroup, he served as Corporate Manager, Global Employee Research and HR Metrics for John Deere; and senior roles at Personnel Research Associates/Valtera, Bank Administration Institute, Control Data and Control Data Business Advisors. Jerry has directed global employee engagement surveys, manager feedback surveys and special focus surveys (for example, communications, employment brand, customer focus, and performance management) for hundreds of thousands of employees in a variety of languages. In addition to the design, delivery and interpretation of survey results (engagement drivers and attrition drivers), Jerry has provided consultation to aid business HR groups with survey communication, feedback and action planning. Jerry’s received a BA in Psychology from the University of Illinois. He completed his coursework towards the PhD in Industrial Psychology with a minor in Industrial Relations at the University of Minnesota. Jerry is active in several professional groups including the HCI Advisory Board. He is past Chairman of The Mayflower Group, the oldest and largest consortium of companies sharing survey norms and best practices. He is also co-founder of the Attrition Retention Consortium, which is a group of large companies sharing turnover data and retention best practices. Jerry has also been a frequent speaker at SIOP, The Conference Board, CIOP, and other HR Industry conferences.
