Kelly is a Director in the Enterprise Internet Solutions department at State Farm. He graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1985 with a BA in Business Administration. He began working at State Farm in 1985 and has worked in the Systems (IT), Management Planning & Information, Communications, and Enterprise Internet Solutions departments. Kelly assumed overall coordination responsibility for State Farm’s intranet in April 2000. His current duties include managing State Farm’s intranet and coordination with other electronic communication vehicles.
During his career at State Farm, Kelly has had experience in marketing/PR, brand management, communications, print publications, technology, and first & second line management. He coordinated the project that implemented State Farm’s first intranet site, managed the Executive departments’ use of the intranet, helped establish enterprise strategies regarding the use of electronic media, and was part of the teams that implemented State Farm’s first internal and external blogs.
